- Create headers that will distinguish between which links are for ELD and which links are for ELA
- 3 links for ELD students and 3 links for ELA students on the students’ resource page
- 3 links for ELD teachers and 3 links for ELA teachers on the teachers’ resource page
It looks simple, but with coding everything, adding the images in, adding the titles, etc., etc., it took a bit of time to make sure there were 12 working links. I managed to code everything without dramatically screwing up the tables - that was a win!
I did have a little bit of trouble with the headings, but I got them working alright, so it all turned out. It just took some adjusting of the code. And I'm a bit bothered that all the images are different sizes, even though I managed to get them all to have the same width with some coding magic. The tables looked kind of funny; some of them had to do more scrolling than others to read all the text. And really, the text is more important than the pictures, as visually appealing as those are.
So, with a few quick fixes to the code, I just made the boxes taller so that there wouldn't have to be as much scrolling. Of course, I had to adjust every box so that they were all an equal height, or it would have looked even more wonky.

Here are a couple of screenshots of what the teacher resource page looks like, with the adjusted column height:
Stay tuned for my upcoming reflection. For now, that's all, folks! Thanks for joining me on the journey.
